This article describes how to use Gmailify to integrate Yahoo Mail with Gmail. When you sync Yahoo Mail with Gmail, you can also send emails using your Yahoo email address.

To configure your Yahoo Mail account to send and receive messages through Gmail:

• In Gmail, select the gear icon and choose to See all settings.

• Select Accounts and Import.

• Select Add a mail account in the Check mail from other accounts section.

• Enter your Yahoo Mail address in the Email address text box, then select Next.

• Select Link accounts with Gmailify and select Next.

  Your communications are deleted from Yahoo Mail if you choose the alternative. To manage your Yahoo account from Gmail or Yahoo Mail, use Gmailify.

  A Yahoo Mail Pro subscription is not necessary to use Gmailify. Prior to the debut of Gmailify in 2016, you had to subscribe to Yahoo’s premium service in order to send or receive messages from your Gmail account.

• In the Yahoo Mail login screen, enter your username and password, adjust the permissions, and select Agree.

• In the You’ve been Gmailified window, select Close.

• In Gmail, go to Settings > Accounts and Import to verify that the settings are configured as you intended. By default, Gmail replies to all messages from your Gmail address. To change this setting, go to the Send mail section and select Reply from the same address as the message was sent.

• Return to this screen at any time to unlink your Yahoo Mail account. Select unlink next to your Yahoo Mail address.

• In the next window, either keep or delete the imported mail from your Yahoo Mail account. Choose the option you want and click Unlink to complete the process.
