How to Delete Your Bumble Account: Bumble is a great place to connect with people who live close to you and enjoy similar interests. If you’re looking for a dating app that encourages you to make the first move, this is an excellent alternative. Bumble is known for being a very chatty platform.
In fact, you’ll find that a lot of users on the app will immediately start chatting with you once you make your first match.
This is great when you want to make connections with people who share the same interests as you, however it can also be off-putting if you’re looking to avoid conversation. If you don’t want to be bombarded with messages, here’s how to delete your Bumble account:
Log into your Bumble account
Before you delete your Bumble account, it’s important to log in to the app. When you log in, you will be taken to a page that shows your profile and has a green button labeled “delete account.”
Go to your Settings
The first thing you’ll want to do is go to your settings. You can do this by pressing the three dots in the top-right corner and selecting Settings from the dropdown menu.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Account tab

Once you’ve clicked on your account tab, you will be taken to a page with information about your account and steps to either delete or deactivate your account.

Clicking on the link that says “Delete my account” will take you through the steps for deleting your Bumble account.
You can also deactivate your account by clicking on the link that says “Deactivate my profile”
If you want to reactivate your deleted account, simply log in and fill out a request form.
Click on the Delete My Account option
Once you’ve logged into your account, the first thing you should do is click on the Delete My Account option at the top of the page. You’ll be taken to a page where you have to enter your phone number and Bumble password to confirm that you want to delete your account.
Enter your password one last time and click on the Delete My Account button

3. Enter your password one last time and click on the Delete My Account button
4. You will then be asked if you’re sure you want to delete your account, click on OK
5. The app will then ask if you want all of your profile information deleted, click on yes
6. Bumble will now ask for confirmation that you want to delete your account, click on DELETE MY ACCOUNT once more
7. Congratulations! Your account is now deleted!
That’s it! Your Bumble account has now been deleted.
If you found that your Bumble account was no longer meeting your needs, you’ve successfully deleted it. Now you can move on to the next dating app.
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
This is a great way to make your account more secure. All you have to do is go into your profile, click on “Settings” and then “Privacy & Security”. You’ll have the option to enable 2FA here.
Match with People You’re Interested In
The first step to deleting your Bumble account is making a match. Once you’ve made a match, click on the connection icon in the toolbar on the far right of your screen. This will take you to your connection tab, which will list all of the people you’ve matched with and are currently chatting with.
Find the person you want to remove from your app and swipe left on their profile picture. You should then see a pop-up that says “Unmatch?” Click “Unmatch” here to delete their account from your phone.
Start Conversations at the Right Time
While many people are drawn to Bumble because of how chatty it is, that might not be what you’re looking for. Bumble has a feature called “conversations,” where you can start messages with other members. If you want to limit your inbox and avoid constant conversations, one thing you can do is set a time limit on when your conversations will expire.
We recommend setting up your conversations so they will expire after six hours. This way, all of the messages that are sent to you will only last for six hours. Once the message expires, the person who sent it will no longer be able to see your profile or send any additional messages to you. You won’t receive any notifications from these expired messages either- which means less clutter in your inbox.
