Teachers can create a Free Student Account for their students so that they can join a classroom and complete assignments. This can happen in a number of ways:
- A teacher provides a classroom join link to a student.
- A teacher provides an assignment share link to a student.
- A teacher sends a student an email invitation.
- A teacher provides a student with a classroom code.
Students can follow the instructions below to join a classroom.
Joining a Classroom Using a Classroom Join Link
- Navigate to the classroom join link provided by your teacher. The classroom code will be prefilled automatically, so move on to the next step.
- Type in your full name, email address, and password to create your Free Student Account. You will be automatically added to your teacher’s classroom.
Joining a Classroom Using an Assignment Share Link
- Navigate to the assignment share link provided by your teacher, and click on “Create an account with email”.
- You will be taken to the classroom join page, with the classroom code prefilled automatically. Click “Continue” to move on to the next step.
- Type in your full name, email address, and password to create your Free Student Account. You will be automatically added to your teacher’s classroom.
Joining a Classroom with an Email Invitation
A link to join the classroom will be included in the email invitation. Locate the email invitation in your inbox, click the link, and proceed as described in “Joining a Classroom Using a Classroom Join Link.”
Joining a Classroom with a Classroom Code
- Navigate to the join classroom page: https://study.com/join/classroom.html
- Type in the classroom code that you got from your teacher.
- Follow the steps in “Joining a Classroom Using a Classroom Join Link”
